As of January 1, 2025, the state of Connecticut increased the rate at which employees accrue sick time 1 hour per every 30 hours worked. Current employees will begin accruing paid sick leave on 01/01/25, but will be able to start using accrued time 120 calendar days after date of hire. An employee can accrue a maximum of 40 hours per year.
